Tracking Class Attendance

I’m reaching out to see if it would be possible to track student attendance or implement an attendance feature?

Attendance Using [Assistance]

Yes -- to record class attendance or attendance to a specific event we recommend setting-up Assistance Categories for the various class types and record under a client's [Assistance] tab.

Here's a quick video overview to review (~4 mins): https://simon.d.pr/v/V085tG

To create a new assistance category, visit your [Admin] tab or [My Agency] tab >> click [Categories] sub-tab >> click [Add Category +] button. Repeat this for each assistance category, for example:

  • Education: ESL Class (Amount: 1, Unit: "Attendance")

  • Education: Financial Literacy 101 (Amount: 1, Unit: "Attendance")

  • Education: Life Skills Workshop (Amount: 1, Unit: "Attendance")

  • Education: Parent Education (Amount: 1, Unit: "Attendance")

Once this is in place you will be able to record/report those that attended these classes.

Reporting Attendance

After attendance information has been recorded we can report on this for a particular class or for a date range. Here's a reporting video showing how either the "Assistance" or "Categories" report types can help get you what you need (~2 mins): https://simon.d.pr/v/qT3YWu

Option: Attendance using Demographics or Events

*Note* If using [Assistance] doesn't sound like what you're needed, you may explore a couple other options including using "Demographics" or [Events] Watch (~2 mins): https://simon.d.pr/v/THdqwo

Giving this further thought, the [Outcomes] feature could be tailored to work as well - Please check out this quick video (~1): https://simon.d.pr/v/C01JVm
