You Asked, We Delivered — 10 New Features Are Here!

A roundup of new features and refinements shipped in April 2026: Funding source enhancements, better ROI visibility, faster ID Card sharing, automatic communication of referral activity, and more!

Written by Isaac Simon

We've been busy — and it's all because of you. Every feature in this update came from feedback we've heard from our community. Here's a look at what's new!

#1 – Funding Source Balances

We've given Funding Sources a meaningful upgrade. You can now track balances against each funding source, making it easier to manage how much has been allocated versus what's still available. The new layout surfaces all of your funding sources at a glance — along with available and total balances — so there's no guesswork when recording assistance.

#2 – Enhanced Referral Email Functionality

We've taken a closer look at how referral-related emails work and made some meaningful improvements. The referral notification email has been redesigned for clarity, and we've added two brand-new emails that didn't exist before — one notifying the referral creator when assistance has been provided, and another keeping them informed when a status update is made. Keeping everyone in the loop just got a lot more automatic.

#3 – Easier Release of Information Compliance / Workflow

Managing ROI signatures across a household has always required a bit of manual coordination. We've made that process easier. You can now quickly switch which household member's signature is covering the ROI for other members — all without having to dig through individual records one by one.

(Available in: Basic, Plus, and Pro)

#4 – Unsaved Changes Protection

We've all been there — you're editing a case and accidentally navigate away, losing your work in the process. That's no longer a concern. The system will now prompt you before leaving a page if there are unsaved changes, giving you a chance to save or confirm before moving on.

(Available in: Basic, Plus, and Pro)

#5 – Send Client ID Cards via SMS (Text Message)

Getting a client their ID card just got a lot easier. Instead of printing and handing it off in person, you can now send a client's ID card directly to their phone via text message. It's a small change with a big impact, especially for agencies working with clients in the field or remotely.

(Available in: Pro only)

#6 – Ensure Signatures Get Recorded on Assistance

For agencies that require a signature when recording assistance, we've added a safeguard to make sure that step doesn't get skipped. If a signature is required for a particular assistance category and one hasn't been captured, the system will prompt the worker before the record can be saved.

(Available in: Plus and Pro)

#7 – Add Default Steps for Outcomes Goals

Network administrators can now define default steps for each Outcomes goal. When a worker adds a goal to a client's case, those steps will be pre-populated as a helpful starting point. Each case remains fully customizable — this just removes the repetitive setup that was previously done goal by goal.

(Available in: Plus and Pro)

#8 – Paste a List of Case IDs into [Add Multiple Assistance]

The [Add Multiple Assistance] feature just got a meaningful upgrade. You can now paste an entire list of Case IDs directly into the tool rather than entering them one by one. If you work with spreadsheets or printed rosters during distributions, this will save a significant amount of time.

(Available in: Plus and Pro)

#9 – In-Browser Previews for PDFs and Images

Viewing documents and images is now faster and more seamless. Instead of downloading a file just to see what's in it, PDFs and images will now open directly in your browser with a built-in preview. Less friction, more efficiency.

(Available in: Basic, Plus, and Pro)

How to download a PDF and other files

For enhanced security and stronger HIPAA compliance, PDFs and images now open directly in your browser rather than downloading automatically to your device. This reduces the risk of accidentally saving unverified files to your computer and gives you a chance to review content before choosing to keep a local copy.

How to download a PDF

While viewing the PDF in your browser, look for the download icon (typically a downward arrow) in the PDF viewer's toolbar at the top of the page. Clicking it will save the file to your default downloads folder. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S (or ⌘+S on Mac) while the PDF is open.

How to download an image

You have two options:

  • Right-click method: Right-click anywhere on the image and select "Save image as…" from the menu. Choose where you'd like to save the file and click Save.

  • Browser file menu: With the image open in your browser, click the File menu at the top of the window, then select "Save page as…" Choose your destination folder and click Save. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S (or ⌘+S on Mac) while the image is being viewed.

Which file types preview in the browser?

The following file types will open in the browser preview:

  • PDF

  • JPEG, JPG, JFIF, PJPEG, PJP

  • PNG, APNG

  • AVIF

  • GIF

  • SVG

  • WebP

All other file types will continue to download automatically when clicked.

Why we changed this

Previously, clicking any file forced your browser to download it before you could view it — which meant potentially confidential client information was being saved to local devices any time someone wanted to take a quick look. The new preview-first behavior keeps sensitive information in the browser by default and only saves it to your device when you explicitly choose to.

#10 – Send a Link to Pay an Invoice Without Needing to Log In

Paying an invoice no longer requires a system login. If your billing contact isn't an active user, you can now send them a direct link to view and pay the invoice from their browser — no account needed. Simple, clean, and one less thing to coordinate.
