Thanks for your email and for your interest in learning more! Per your request, please find below additional information about how our solution can help in your evaluation of your "Getting Ahead" program:

CharityTracker Tools for Getting Ahead

We've been working with the Aha! Process to develop CharityTracker features to help assess "Getting Ahead" program effectiveness based upon ~Self-Assessment of 11 resources; ~5-Point Stability Scale; ~Return-on-investment- Income, Debt, Assets, and Benefits; ~Model fidelity elements for User Organizations. The following 3 pieces of information are recorded in CharityTracker during an Assessment:

Here is a demonstration video of the features:

Getting Ahead Reporting

There are several different report types that you will find helpful for Getting Ahead program evaluation:

1.) Individual GA Investigator/Graduate Report (see report example here). This report will summarize all the individual's Self-Assessment of Resources, Stability Scale, and Return on Investment indicators in a graphical format:

To run this report, follow these steps:

  • Open a Case and click [Case Report] link on the right-side

  • On the 1st reporting screen, ensure that "Custom" is selected. You can further filter and click [Next] button.

  • Ensure "Individual Case Report" is selected from the "Custom Template" drop-down and click [View Report].

2.) Getting Ahead Program Report (see report example here). This report shows % changes based upon the difference between baseline assessment (1st assessment) and most recent assessment. *NOTE* There must be 2 or more assessments recorded to show change over time.

The Getting Ahead program report is separated into three (3) sections: 1st is the "Self Assessment of Resources" data: https://simon.d.pr/i/xUYiZy ; the 2nd is "Stability Scale": https://simon.d.pr/i/oDbLtf; and 3rd is "Return on Investment Indicators": https://simon.d.pr/i/6gU86L . The % change is reflecting the percentage of your GA Investigators/Graduates that have increased in each specific indicator from when their first GA assessment was recorded (baseline assessment) to their most recent GA assessment.

For example: Let's say John Smith's 1st "Financial Resources" indicator was "Level 1: Crisis" in his baseline assessment and, in his most recent assessment recorded after graduation, he increased to "Level 3: Stable". Then this would mean that John Smith is included in the % of GA Investigators/Graduates that have INCREASED on this indicator.

Also, "Group Numbers" can be used to separate different classes/cohorts and the report will accommodate each Group separately and All Groups.

To run this report, follow these steps:

  • Go to [My Agency] tab >> [Reports] sub-tab and select "Getting Ahead Program Report" (if you don't see this report type, please reach out to the support team: info@simonsolutions.com).

  • On the 1st reporting screen, ensure that "Custom" is selected. You can further filter and click [Next] button.

  • Ensure "Getting Ahead Program Report" is selected from the "Custom Template" drop-down and click [View Report]. The final report will summarize the changes over time for Self-Assessment of Resources, Stability Scale, and Return on Investment indicators.

3.) Getting Ahead Self Assessment Report - If you are looking for more detailed data to each Assessment you can run this report.

To run this report, follow these steps:

  • Go to [My Agency] tab >> [Reports] sub-tab and select "Getting Ahead Self Assessment Report.

  • On the 1st reporting screen, you can select either "List", "Table" or "CSV" format is selected. You can further filter and click [Next] button.

  • On the 2nd report screen, you can pick and choose the data points you'd like to use and then click [View Report] (or, if CSV format was selected the report will be generated and can be downloaded/opened in Excel) - At minimum I would recommend any "Form" details, see screenshot below.

  • Model Fidelity Scale Report - If you are looking for information on how closely your "Getting Ahead" site is adhering to the model set forth by the curriculum authors (DeVol and Associates, LLC - Published by aha! Process, Inc.).

  • Visit [My Agency] tab >> [Reports] sub-tab >> select "Model Fidelity" report type.
