Yes! Each assistance category can have a set default "Unit" associated with the category. For example: the "Utility Assistance" category will always default to "Dollars"... or the "Food Pantry" category should always default to "Pounds" or "Boxes/Bags" or "Visits" this can be set at each category under [Admin] tab >> [Categories] sub-tab. 

The list of "Units" can be edited under the [Admin] tab >> click EDIT NETWORK SETTINGS link.

An Agency Admin can also set a "Unit" default in "Agency Categories" (if they have been given permission to add categories. See [My Agency] tab, [Categories] sub-tab.

However, new "Units" can only be added by a network admin.
