The CharityTracker and Oasis Insight API is scheduled to be released in Summer/Fall 2021.
Our API will provide the permission-driven operations to create, read, update, and delete case and assistance data. We are beyond excited to release this functionality to our customers!
While custom integrations can be designed without an API, our development team is not accepting (or reviewing) new integration projects until our API is released. We're laser focusing on the development of our API for two important reasons:
- Offering an API gives customers the ability to work with their IT department to develop integrations into any other platform without requiring the continuous involvement of our development team. Rich documentation will be provided for our API.
- Custom integrations, without having an API on our end, are becoming increasingly complex and time-consuming, equating to high budget requirements with our customers. Our mission is to provide technology solutions at affordable pricing. Releasing our own API will alleviate these pain points.
What do I do in the meantime?
At this time, we offer two forms of exporting data from CharityTracker and Oasis Insight:
Option 1 - CSV Export
Within all plans, the reporting tools will allow you to export data in CSV format, a popular format for importing data into other systems.
Option 2 - SQL Download
A weekly MySQL database file can be downloaded under the [Admin] tab (see screenshot here).
